Neil has a range of interests.

Always keen to get out on the water, sailed all his life in a range of small craft and keelers.

Currently enjoys exploring the islands around the local area in his 4.5 meter fiz boat  (NZ slang for a small boat powerd by an outboard engine).

Skied nearly all the ski fields in New Zealand as well as many of the world's best known ski fields in the USA, Austria and Switzerland.

A full time ceramic potter and sculpture for fifteen years.

Always had an interest in music, bought his first set of drums as a teenager and never looked back.

Not a heavy drinker at all, but if you twist his arm he'll have a beer with you.  He has brewed beer since 1968.

Currently has a fully working, non-commercial micro brewery that produces his famed "Neils 105A Larger" .

Twist his arm again and he will pour a free one for you.
