Conditions, Prices and Services

 Price list :

 

* NZ$ 175.00 per room per night

 

   The same room rates apply to all rooms, all rooms have queen beds

  The generous continental breakfast is for two people and is included in the room rate

 

*A third person in the same room

 (third person being on a single portable bed) including breakfast     Add  NZ$60.00

 

*Early check in and late check out by arrangement only. An additional fee may apply for extremely early

  or late arrivals

 

 Bookings:

*To make a booking please first contact us and make an "Availability Enquire"

                                       Please include the "Dates of the Nights" you require your B&B stay

*If we have a vacency for your required nights and you wish to proceed with a booking we will

                      then send you a PayPal invoice or other payment options

                      We do require full payment to make a booking and "hold" the room for you

                      When we receive full payment from you we will send you a

                      "Comfirmation of Booking and Receipt of Payment" (The room will then be held for you)

                                      

 Payment methods:

*PayPal prior to your stay (required to hold the room for you)

*Credit card payments can be made only through PayPal 

  (You do not need to be a PayPal customer to pay via PayPal, it is a simple process to pay via PayPal)

*NZ Direct bank deposit prior to your stay (required to hold the room for you) best for NZ residents

*Cash on arrival (sorry but rooms will only be held for customers if payment is made in advance)


*Please confirm availability with Moontide Lodge before any PayPal payments are made

  To proceed with your booking we will send you a PayPal invoice 

 

Services:

*Breakfast is served in the dining room usually between 8am and 9am

  (just let us know if you wish to have breakfast outside these times)

  This is a wholesome buffet selection of cereals and table setting of fresh fruit, fruit juce, 

  toast with complements, coffee  and tea with refills   

  (this is a continental breakfast, it is not a cooked breakfast)

*Complementary Tea and Coffee making facility and a Bar Fridge for guest's wine

  and beer is available in the main Lounge 

*Free Wi-fi connection is available

*Disability and Accessibility: There is no lift available, suites are accessed via one flight of stairs with a

  single hand rail 

*Hair dryer, iron and ironing board are available

*Beach towels are available for guests to take down to the beach

*Bed linen and towels are changed every 3 days

  Additional change of towels and linen on request

*We offer complementary tea and coffee in the lounge and deck

  these areas are available for your general use

*The safe swimming beach below can be reached directly by steps from Moontide Lodge 

 

Conditions:

*Check In time after 4pm (Outside these times by arrangement)

*Check Out time on day of departure by 10am (Outside these times by arrangement)

*Do not consume food or beverages on carpeted areas, tea, coffee, wine and light

  refreshments can be enjoyed on a suite that has an out side deck or in the main guest lounge as well as

  that lounge deck. All these areas have nice sea views 

*Street shoes are not worn inside, this policy ensures that the carpets and floor areas are clean and fresh

  for all guests  (For your own comfort please remember to pack your own slippers)

*Unfortunately no pets are allowed

*This is a non smoking facility, strictly no smoking inside  

  Smoking is only permitted outside in the grounds away from the building

*No lighting of naked flames, including candles or incense burners are permitted on the premises

*Please leave your room locked when you leave for the day

*We endeavour to provide an uninterrupted internet service, but cannot guarantee that. We will not be

  liable for loss of data or damage to users equipment.

*Guest are liable for breakages or damage to the accommodation or its contents

  Please report any situation as soon as it occurs. We do not normally charge for minor damage or

  breakages however we reserve the right to invoice guests for repairs or making good if the item is 

  significant.  

*Moontide Lodge is situated in a area that has high cliffs, cliffs pose a danger, keep away from cliff

  edges and stay on main walking areas and tracks

*Bathrooms and other areas have tiled surfaces, tiles can be slippery particularly when wet, take  

  care when walking on tiled surfaces. Moontide Lodge will not be held liable for guests accidents

*A stay at Moontide Lodge is undertaken on the condition that the employees or any associates of 

  Moontide Lodge will not be held liable for guests losses or damages caused directly or  

  indirectly associated with their stay


Cancellations

*Cancellations received more than two weeks prior to booking date:

  A refund of 90 % off the paid tariff applies (the 10 % is to cover admin and transaction costs)

*Cancellations received one week prior to booking date:

  A 50% refund will be given, however if a replacement confirmed booking can be found

  then a refund of 90 % off the paid tariff applies

*Cancellations received inside one week prior to booking date:

  No refund will be given, however if a replacement confirmed booking can be found

  then a refund of 90 % off the paid tariff applies



*In the unlikely situation of unforeseen events making your room unavailable, our compensation terms

  will be limited to only offering you the choice of either an alternative available room (at a 10% discount)

  or we will give a full refund of your paid tariff
